ultra long weekends ftw :) i've got an ultra long weekend this week, starting from today hehe. will only return to camp on monday morning, ain't that nice :D

the benefit of driving quite alot recently: i listen to 93.3 alot nowadays, and in the process i hear alot of nicee songs (: and! having a sharp ear for songs with nice/meaningful lyrics, i can often catch the lyrics the very first time i hear the songs :D

Germans want Ballack to quit national team
A narrow majority of German football fans want captain Michael Ballack to quit the national team, according to a survey.

The SID news agency asked the Dortmund Polling Institute to interview fans and found that 55.1 per cent want the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, 33, to step aside.

This would allow Philipp Lahm to keep the armband he wore during the World Cup, and would pave the way for the new generation of young players who impressed in the injured Ballack’s absence.

However, the former Chelsea star is still viewed as one of the top German players, after he polled joint-second with Miroslav Klose in another survey among the sample of fans.

The veteran duo were viewed as Germany's top player by 11.7 per cent of respondents, behind only Klose's Bayern Munich team-mate Bastien Schweinsteiger (20.8 per cent).

Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil was the biggest jumper in the rankings, more than doubling his previous level of popularity by polling fifth, with 8.4 per cent.

didn't have the energy to update last night because i was basically travelling from one end of tuas naval base to the other yesterday. even on a bicycle it was damn tiring please. okayy maybe i'm just old now hahah.

uhh as you can see the last ord update i posted was 5 months ago hahah. but anyway! freedom is coming real soooooooon, but this last one month feels like the longest month in my life, ever.

got to start planning for post-ord life already too, i've got 8 to 9 months before school starts, and if i really do relief teaching it'll only start in january :/ i really need a job before that (and just in case there's no vacancies for relief teachers)... recommendations anyone?

anyway for the next 25 days (at least) i will make it a point to update this blog everyday, even if it's just to countdown the days till ord (:
