thanksgiving before christmas-
because i had some impacted wisdom tooth extracted so i have more time at home thus i felt i should reflect on the year that passed-
in this extremely boring and mundane year that passed, i thank God for the following:
- for letting me realise how important simple stuff like family is to me. well, in being home everyday we often take our families and homes for granted, and often end up treating it like a mere hostel, where you go back and sleep and just leave the next day. but thank you Lord for making me realise and appreciate this simple yet easily forgotten blessing.
- for being with me every minute along the way throughout this past year. my prayers you have heard Lord, and thank you for that.
- while it hasn't been a big or eventful year i still thank God for the small stuff in this past year like passing my driving test, getting a place in an engineering course and all, many of which i probably couldn't have done without your grace.
- while some prayers may seem like they've not been heard sometimes, thank you Lord for making me come to the realisation that sometimes it is not just a simple 'yes' or 'no', but a trial to wait, and accept that if it is Your will, i will heed.
its been ultra long since my last decent post but i suddenly had the urge to update today. and just in case i do not update in time later, merry christmas to everyone :)
